Waving Hello…
Just stopping in to say “hello,” which happens to be one of our newest and favorite tricks this week.
We had a memorable weekend. The water level on the Chattooga River rose to over two feet, so we loaded up some good friends and hopped in…well, in some cases, hopped out and got wet! I, the trusty guide, fell out two more times than intended. I’ve gotta remember how I stayed in those rafts nine years ago when I did these types of things daily…for pay, even. hmmm… I sense that I am aging. It is apparent both in the wildly ungraceful way in which I toppled out of the raft (twice) and in the creaking way my body aches today. So.Un.Cool.
I haven’t knitted a stitch in many days. That is soon to be remedied. My remaining To-Do List for the evening goes like this: Blog. Knit. Go to bed.
I hope you all had a fun-filled weekend. I hope you ate dinner on your porch or took a walk at dusk. These Summer days are numbered and Fall is nudging its elbow at us a little. For this I am grateful,it is my favorite season, but looking ahead at inevitable cold, I’ll savor the warmth indeed.

She is so cute waving and laughing in any mode. What a sweet laugh! I really can’t believe how old she is getting! These months have passed so quickly. Hope she can say hi to Julia in person sometime soon…
Oh, I just adore this new blog…I knew I was missing something special. It was fun to see you and your awesome family a bit ago. She is a bundle of cuteness for sure!
